Real estate development company IQHQ is currently developing six blocks along San Diego’s waterfront into what will be known as RaDD, the City’s new ‘life science’ district. Half of the 10-acre mixed-use commercial site will be dedicated green space, with the remaining property occupied by mid-rise buildings and a tower consisting of office, lab, retail, dining, and event spaces.
To support this new development, ParkUSA is supplying seven GreaseTrooper® Gravity Grease Interceptor Systems, which will provide wastewater pretreatment for food and beverage operations across the property. The welded stainless steel GreaseTroopers were manufactured in sizes ranging from 5,000-10,000 gallons at our ParkUSA facility in Houston. They are designed for use in above-grade applications and will be installed within various levels of parking garages. Each unit includes special anchors engineered to mitigate movement during seismic events.
This project represents the first major ParkUSA product installation on the West Coast.
