Mixer body/chamber manufactured with heavy-duty carbon steel.
Provides thorough and reliable blending of multiple liquid streams and liquid or powder chemicals.
Offers effective static mixing for flocculation, polymer blending, chemical blending, dispersion of solids into liquid streams, and more.
Park Process Static Mixers provide a simple and effective solution for a wide range of mixing and blending applications. Each of the Static Mixer styles in our series— VortaFlo™, VortaBlend™, and VortaSpin™— is specifically designed to thoroughly blend two or more liquid streams or enhance the mixing of powder or liquid chemicals into a liquid. Carbon steel construction is standard for the body and mixing chamber of all units, with additional materials available for compatibility with varying process fluids.
VortaFlo™
The VortaFlo™ can be installed in a pipeline and used simply as a static mixing device, or with the addition of an injection quill to the mixing body, chemicals such as polymers, acids, or caustics can be added and mixed into the fluid flow. It utilizes propriety nonmetallic mixing plates to accomplish the blending action.
VortaBlend™
The VortaBlend™ Static Mixer has uniquely designed opposing nozzle plates that create opposite directional multiple spinning fluid “slabs” which collide in the center of the mixing chamber. The result is a thoroughly blended mixture of the main fluid with any other liquid chemical or chemical powder that has been introduced upstream. This mixing action can be accomplished with relatively low pressure drop across the VortaBlend™ device, with most applications requiring a 5-10 psi drop.
VortaSpin™
The VortaSpin™ mixing device has a uniquely designed nozzle plate that creates multiple spinning fluid “slabs”. These slabs inter-react with internal baffles in the downstream mixing chamber. The result is a thoroughly blended mixture of the main fluid with any other liquid chemical or chemical powder that has been introduced upstream. This mixing action can be accomplished with a relatively low pressure drop across the nozzle plate, with most applications requiring a 5-10 psi drop.
Our Static Mixers are uniquely engineered to accomplish specific mixing and blending tasks in a versatile range of applications.
Our Static Mixers provide a simple solution for efficiently mixing chemicals, ensuring consistency and uniformity in blended solutions and resulting in a higher quality end product.
Wastewater treatment and chemical manufacturing plants utilize Static Mixers to adjust pH levels by mixing fluids with a neutralizing agent.
Manufactures that utilize color dyes in their processes can achieve consistent color blending with the use of our Static Mixer technology.
Water and wastewater treatment plants can use Static Mixers for effective polymer blending to aid in flocculation processes.
Park Process Static Mixers offer an effective and cost-effective method of dispersing solids into liquid streams.
Oil, gas, and petrochemical industries rely on Static Mixers for a variety of blending processes that require efficient mixing in uniform volumes to ensure product quality.
A Static Mixer can be used to generate dynamic shear in drilling mud, which can help increase the efficiency of drilling operations.
Our Static Mixers are effective in blending common slurry mixtures like cement-bentonite used to construct slurry walls for building foundations, tunnels, waste containment, and groundwater control.
