Equipped for High G-force operation.
Park Process Mechanical Separation Systems are specially designed to reduce drilling fluid and disposal costs for a range of drilling, mining, and tunneling operations.
Our Vibratory Screening Unit model uses a shale shaker process to effectively remove drill cuttings from drilling fluid so that the fluid can be recirculated back into the well bore. The units are powered by top-brand, IEC EX, ATEX, and UL-certified vibration motors. Patented rubber wedge sealing on the shaker deck and screen offers long-lasting performance, and the pre-tensioned shale screen makes for quick and easy screen replacement. Flow into the unit can be introduced via weir feed, top feed, or hopper feed, depending on the application. The shaker deck is heat-treated for high G-force operation, and the angle is adjustable while working.
The Mud Cleaner model enhances the standard Vibratory Screening model with hydrocyclone technology, making it a an all-in-one desander, desilter, and screening unit. It combines one or more 10” desander hydrocyclones with smaller 4” hydrocyclones, which effectively take two “cuts” at the solids contaminating the fluid. The 10” hydrocyclone removes large solids down to approximately 100 microns, and the 4” hydrocyclone can remove solids down to 20 microns size. The vibratory screening unit takes the underflow of both size sets of hydrocylones and separates the concentrated solids from the liquid. Mud Cleaners are effective on both weighted and unweighted drilling-fluid systems in removing and drying solids while retaining the expensive liquid phase.
Vibratory Screening Unit
Drilling mud is pumped onto the shale shaker screen, which vibrates drill cuttings (solids) across and off the edge of the screen, while drilling fluids pass through the screen and can be pumped back into the drilling fluid processing system (or mud system).
Mud Cleaner
The Mud Cleaner operates using two pumps, with the pump feeding the 10” cyclones typically suctioning from a compartment upstream from the compartment from which the other pump suctions to feed the 4” hydrocyclones. The combined hydrocyclone action removes solids from 100-20 microns in size. Underflow from both sets of hydrocyclones moves to the vibratory screening unit where the concentrated solids are separated from the liquid and shaken off of the screen. The liquid passes through the screen for recirculation into the drilling fluid system. The Mud Cleaner is designed to handle the entire circulating volume of the drilling system in which it is operating.
Park Process Vibratory Screening Units and Mud Cleaners provide efficient mechanical solids-fluid separation for most drilling and tunneling applications.
Drilled solids including rock and clay can be separated from drilling fluid using Park Process mechanical separation systems.
Water wells being constructed using mud rotary drilling use vibratory screening to clean cuttings and recirculate fluids into the borehole.
Park Process mechanical separation systems utilize a small footprint to provide efficient separation and recycling of drilling fluid for HDD projects.
Tunneling operations produce significant volumes of drilled mud that require sold-fluids separation to reduce construction and disposal costs.
Park Process Vibratory Screening Units and Mud Cleaners provide effective drill cuttings separation in CBM operations.
Closed loop mining operations rely on mechanical separation systems to separate and recirculate high volumes of drilling mud.
