Precast tanks are a cost-effective choice due to their durability, resistance to corrosion, and ability to be cast in any size or shape.
Wash water that cannot be reused flows into the oil-water separator that removes grit, oil, and other contaminants before it is discharged into a municipal sewer system.
An automatic monitoring system eliminates costly and time-consuming manual intervention and capacity assessment.
HydroRecycle® by ParkUSA is an underground precast concrete reclaim system that combines a filtration system and a sand-oil separator that collects and filters water for reuse as well as pretreats the water before it is discharged to a sewer system. Designed specifically for car washes, the system can also be employed to treat harvested rainwater.
Designed with flexibility in mind, we customize each system to the exact specifications and site requirements of your car wash operation. Our water reclaim system is comprised of multiple-stage precast concrete interceptor tanks and uses our advanced gravity flow technology to remove sediments and oils from car wash reclaim water. These tanks incorporate multiple filtration systems to treat the reclaimed water. A sand-oil separator that utilizes patented coalescing technology to clarify wastewater is incorporated into the system.
Our water reclamation system includes traffic-duty cast iron or composite access manways, leak-proof pipe connections, interior piping, and custom pipe penetrations for suction, overflow, ozone, inlets, outlets, and float sensors.
The HydroRecycle® system by ParkUSA uses cutting-edge flow technology to separate sediments and oils from car wash water. The treatment process involves multiple stages of wash water clarification.
The wash water enters the system through baffled precast concrete reclamation tanks that reduce water velocity and remove settleable solids such as sand and grit. Filtered water rises to the top while solids settle at the bottom. To achieve optimal water chemistry for reuse, ozone is added to the tanks. When fresh water enters the system through the rinse cycle, the wash water is displaced. The reusable wash water undergoes further polishing through reverse osmosis and ozonation before reintroduction into the wash cycle as clean water.
Wash water that cannot be reused flows into the oil-water separator. Here, influent strikes a corrugated diffusion baffle before flowing through a series of closely spaced corrugated plates. The plates feature an oil-attracting material to coalesce oil droplets. The oil-water separator is equipped with an oil-stop valve to prevent oil from being discharged into the municipal sewer system. This pre-treatment process ensures that the wastewater discharge complies with municipal standards.
Cutting-edge water reclaim and separation technology developed specifically for car washes, but can also be used to treat harvested rainwater.
Car wash systems such as self-service, in-bay, tunnel, and touchless car wash systems can be used to recycle water and rainwater harvesting can be utilized, reducing water usage and costs while minimizing pollution.
Off-grid wash systems can use an underground reclaim water system to significantly reduce water usage and pollution.
Reclaimed water systems and rainwater harvesting can be used in sports stadiums and golf courses to recycle and treat irrigation, runoff water, and rainwater.
Industrial water reclaim systems and rainwater harvesting can be used to reduce costs and minimize environmental impact.
Water reclaim systems and rainwater harvesting can improve water efficiency and dependance on outside water sources.
Water reclaim systems and rainwater harvesting can be installed to recycle and treat wastewater while reducing water usage and costs.
Water reclaim systems and rainwater harvesting can be used in municipalities to treat and recycle wastewater and rainwater from various sources.
