Manufactured with heavy-duty carbon steel (or optional stainless steel) for long-lasting durability and performance.
Effectively dewaters challenging, sticky, slimy, oily, and non-uniform sludge without the need for flocculation.
Disposable filter media makes for easy clean-up and can be discarded with the cake.
GeoCat™ dewatering containers are available in dump-hopper, front-loader, roll-off, trailer-mounted, or stand-mounted models in a variety of configurations and sizes.
Disposing of liquid sludge is more costly than solid waste. Our system efficiently removes water from sludge, resulting in reduced transportation and disposal costs.
The GeoCat™ dewatering box uses disposable filter media to effectively dewater challenging sludge that may be sticky, slimy, slightly oily, non-uniform, non-specific, or difficult to dewater without flocculation. The system is an optimal choice for applications where residual sludge cake would present a clean-up issue, as the disposable filter media is discarded with the cake.
The GeoCat™ is manufactured in a variety of sizes and configurations customizable to your application-specific needs. Disposable filter media is available in 3, 4, 6, and 10-ounce fabric or woven mesh polypropylene. It is made into an envelope shape and held in place by bag hooks around the top perimeter of the container. Filter support panels are made of expanded metal and a perforated plate basket. Heavy-duty carbon-steel or stainless steel construction ensures long-lasting durability that can keep pace with your site operations.
Our system provides a cost-effective way to collect, dewater, transport, and dump sludges, slurries, and wet solids in a variety of applications. Uses include water treatment plants, gas scrubber ash, arsenic sludge, and alum sludge.
The GeoCat™ dewatering system works by using a combination of disposable filter media and gravity to separate solids from liquids in waste streams. When a sludge or slurry is pumped into the container, it flows through the filter media, which acts as a physical barrier. The filter media allows liquids to pass through while capturing and retaining solids. The solids form a layer or cake on top of the filter media, and water continues to flow through the filter media and exits through the outlet drain ports.
Once the container is full or the cake layer reaches a certain thickness, the cake can be removed and discarded along with the disposable filter media. This eliminates the need for cleaning and maintenance, making it a convenient and efficient method for dewatering solids from challenging waste streams.
Park Process’ dewatering systems with disposable filter media effectively remove liquids from challenging sludges, slurries, and wet solids with hassle-free cake and filter disposal.
Dewatering containers help water treatment plant operators efficiently separate and remove solids from wastewater, allowing filtered water to move onto the next phase of treatment or discharge.
The GeoCat™ can be used at power generation facilities and other fuel-burning applications where exhaust gases must undergo scrubbing to reduce harmful emissions.
Groundwater treatment plants and nonferrous heavy metal industries rely on arsenic sludge abatement processes involving dewatering to keep arsenic from contaminating water supplies.
Dewatering containers can be used to efficiently dewater alum sludge produced during wastewater treatment and drinking water purification processes.
