Djibouti, officially the Republic of Djibouti, is a small country in eastern Africa, located at the northern base of the Horn of Africa. This small republic is home to approximately 792,000 people and Camp Lemonnier. Located at the Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport, Camp Lemonnier is a United States Naval Expeditionary Base and home to the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa of the U.S. Africa Command. Approximately 4,000 people, military personnel as well as civilians, are supported at the base. The prime objective of the base is to conduct stability operations in northeastern Africa. Park USA provided a Lint Trooper for the base in 2014.
